Many different cultures around the world have ceremonies to clear buildings of negative or detrimental energetic imprints. It is also common practice in some religions to hold house blessing ceremonies for new homes. Jewish people have a small decorative case holding a prayer scroll called a mezuzah, attached to the door frame at the entrance of their home to bless and sanctify their living space. Catholic priests will come and bless a home using holy water and maybe incense and Hindus have a house blessing ceremony called a Griha Pravesh performed by a priest to welcome good karma and blessings into the home. Ultimately, carried out properly by a trained person a good space clearing ceremony will remove old negative energetic imprints and replace them with positive new intentions for the future of the occupants. This would be the norm in very large properties and pricing is tailored to the size and age of the building and the scale of what has to be removed.
